Recycled and reused material concrete has natural rock, sand, water, limestone and cement that can be taken from old bridges and buildings and used again and again. Steel byproducts from steel mills and manufacturing plants are used as reinforcement. No toxic run-off from seal coating asphalt annually with non-reusable petroleum based products. Saves energy from reflecting heat and light instead of absorbing it. Lowering cooling costs as concrete does not absorb and re-release it at night as asphalt does.
